Several interviews are being posted after last night’s game changing episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., if you have already watched check them out below, obviously they contain big spoilers so hold off if you haven’t seen the episode yet!

Executive Producers Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen speak to IGN:

In the interview they discuss the reveal of Skye being comic character Daisy Johnson (aka Quake) and her doctor father being Calvin Zabo  aka (Mister Hyde) and how they may differ from their comic roots.

They also discuss the decision to kill Agent Tripplett off saying it was not an easy decision to make.

Tancharoen explains, “It wasn’t an easy or fast decision to make. Trip is a character that we’ve established over the course of last season and this season and the audience has grown to love him as much as we do but it’s a way to confirm that this life that they all live has stakes and consequences and every day they’re taking a risk and all of them are at risk. To have that present while we’re witnessing Skye’s, well Daisy’s, new power, that’s just something that we wanted to capture in one moment.”

Tancharoen confirms that we are “diving into Inhuman territory.” As most of us know, Marvel announced recently one of their upcoming films will be based on Inhumans. Tancharoen says “We’re thrilled to be able to dive into the introduction of the Inhumans. Everything, as we know, everything is connected in the Marvel universe. Much like the way SHIELD, the organization, you got to see glimpses of it throughout the films, now we’re doing it the other way. And one will always effect the other, so we’re just excited to be the first to have the opportunity to start exploring that territory.

Be sure to check out the full interview at IGN

Some of the same issues are covered in an interview with EW, they go into further detail about the consequences of Trip dying during Skye’s transformation and they confirm that there’s still much about the ongoing story lines to be revealed.

Read the full interview at EW.com

There’s also another interview with Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen over at MTV.com

In addition to speaking with Whedon and Tancharoen, EW sat down with BJ Britt (Agent Tripplett) and talk about who he heard the news and how everyone else reacted.

There’s so much love on that show. As an actor, it’s very rare to find so much love, not only among the actors, but at the top with the producers and the writers and the cast and the crew. Everybody just has fun and we have fun, but we also know we have to get the job done. It makes work that much better, it makes work that much more fun. When you have a job like that, you don’t feel like it’s a job like, “Hey, I’m going to hang out with my friends today. I’m going to kick it with them.” That’s exactly how it felt, that’s another reason why it hurt so much. You see these people on a daily basis and now it’s like, “OK, now I won’t see them until we have a BBQ or maybe if someone has like, a holiday party or something.” It just sucked because I miss them so much. They are so wonderful.

It is a touching interview so be sure to head over to read it at EW.com and show BJ some love over on Twitter we’re sure he could use it!

We have just finished watching the epic mid-season finale of season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it is not hard to see why more and more viewers are adding the show to their “Must Watch” list.

There is no denying that for some viewers Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. started off slow and wasn’t what they were hoping for. While some gave up many stuck with it and were rewarded for their efforts. Word is getting out now that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has grown into a “Must See” show and after the mid-season finale Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is sure to be discussed far and wide.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 doesn’t resume until mid-March (After the 7 part Agent Carter event which replaces S.H.I.E.L.D. in January) and this leaves those who gave up early, and those who never got around to starting, the perfect opportunity to catch up, but how?

Season 1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was released on DVD and Blu Ray in September and it is certainly worth owning but for anyone who isn’t sure they want to commit just yet the good news is you can now watch the whole of season 1 on Netflix

We have already had feedback from a number of people who watched season 1 for the first time after it was released on Netflix and now find themselves unsure about how they can catch up on season 2.

Right now there are two options for watching season 2.  You can buy all of the episodes on via online sources (10 episodes up to the mid-season finale) or, you can buy just the first 5 episodes and then watch episodes 6-10 for free on Hulu or ABC Watch. We have included the links below.

The holidays are the perfect time to introduce – or reintroduce – new fans to the show. Throw a viewing party and marathon the show with your friends and family! When you do, tweet us your pictures to us @SHIELDtv or post them in the comments below.

In this sneak peek clip from next week’s winter finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we see the beginning of what is sure to be a tense conversation.

Also of note in this week’s Spoiler Room over at Entertainment Weekly, Natalie Abrams says this about the Bus’ chances next week:

You’ll find out the answer to that pretty quickly as Tuesday’s winter finale picks up right after Whitehall had Agent 33 order the plane to be shot down. “Our team is in grave danger,” executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen teases, hinting the writers may have considered a world in which S.H.I.E.L.D. is “left with only quintjets.” “It could happen at any moment,” executive producer Jed Whedon adds.
