Is Agent Coulson Coming to Shield?

According to itsjustmovies.com it seems unlikely. Clark Gregg who played Coulson in “The Avengers” indicates he would be interested in reprising the role in S.H.I.E.L.D. But with his character “on a slab”  he is disapointed it probably won’t  happen.

Gregg told Movies.com of his disappointment and frustration when he heard about the planned television series: “You know what, that was the moment when I went ‘Great, they’re doing the S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show and I’m on a slab’.

“I don’t know if we’ll see Agent Coulson again, but I certainly do his voice in their animated series, The Ultimate Spider-Man, and you never know, there may be a flashback or something sometime.

“I really hit it off with those guys [at Marvel], and I’ve talked to them lately about some ways I can continue to work with them, perhaps as a writer or director.”

Do you think the Whedon clan could find a believable way of bringing Coulson back?
