Castle Writer Joins Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Castle writer Shalisha Francis has joined the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writing team. Francis joined Castle in season 2 and has been working on the ABC show for 3 seasons before moving on to join the S.H.I.E.L.D. writing team.

Some of her best known episodes include the season 4 bombing episode 47 Seconds which bares an eery resemblance to real events that took place earlier this year and the episode Close Encounters of the Murderous Kind which pays tribute to The X-Files .

Prior to beginning a career as a television writer Shalisha Francis worked as an attorney but found herself yearning to fulfill her lifelong dream of writing creatively.  She joined a Gotham Writers’ Workshop which lead to her new career, a combination of her loves for writing and television.

Francis joins writers Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen and we will keep you up to date on other writers as information becomes available.
