Variety has announced nominations for this year’s Saturn Awards and we are happy to find Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. nominated in the “Best Network Television Series Release” category. The 2014 Saturn Awards will be presented in June in Burbank, California.

- Under the Dome
Marvel’ Iron Man 3 also has five separate nominations in including:
- Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture
- Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture
- Best Actor: Robert Downey, Jr.
- Best Supporting Actor: Ben Kingsley
- Best Performance by a Younger Actor: Ty Simpkins
And Thor: The Dark World is nominated in five categories:
- Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture
- Best Supporting Actor: Tom Hiddleston
- Best Costume: Wendy Partridge
- Best Make-up: Karen Cohen, David White, Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou
- Best Special/Visual Effects: Jake Morrison, Paul Corbould, Mark Breakspear
