Grant Ward is a Level 7 clearance agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D., a highly skilled “rising star” known for being deadly, precise and cool under fire. Apparently, he’s not so good when it comes to dealing with people, having a tendency to botch interpersonal relations. He’s a quiet one with a bit of a temper, but he’s the kind of guy that grows on you.

Ward’s past indicates he was one of three brothers, the elder of which bullied the younger two and likely led Ward to develop a very strong protective instinct which among his other skills makes a valuable asset to Agent Coulson’s team
