I can’t believe that’s the end of season 2 of Agent Carter. What a simply outstanding show.

What did you think of the season finale?

What did you think of episode 2×10?

Witney has become a basket case.. Peggy & Sousa finally kissed, and wow did they kiss.. Jarvis told her not to leave LA … and Thomposon!! No!! Did they really kill him ’cause I don’t want him dead!  Worst part is, if there’s no season 3 there’ll never be a chance for him NOT to be dead!

Don’t forget, if you haven’t done it yet, let ABC know you want a 3rd season! It’s super easy and takes less than 2 minutes http://agentcarter.net/let-abc…..ent-carter

The good news is that he was shot in the right shoulder (if I remember correctly) so probably not dead regardless.  But let’s hope that Haley decides to stick around another year…and that ABC recognizes the value of the show.

It looked more like he was shot in the chest when he was lying on the ground motionless!

While the ending was good (and had a great cliffhanger!) I thought they took down Frost way to easily. But as for a third season, didn’t Hayley Atwell already get signed on for another show?

From what I’ve heard so far a third season is still all up in the air? Fingers crossed though!! On the plus side, the cliffhanger was bad (for Thompson) but at least if you ignore that, everything else wraps up nicely. Peggy gets to be with Sousa, apparently staying in LA (at least for a while longer) where Jarvis and Stark are, and everything is good.

It was a pretty quickly wrapped up episode but I think that’s at least partly because they organised the double episodes badly. It should have been 5&6 together, then 7 and 8 alone, then 9&10 together. I feel like that would have made more sense.

The Whitney Frost takedown was quite nicely planned, and there was a lot of suspense re Sousa and the evil void of nothingness. I was so stressed that THAT would be the cliffhanger they’d go out on. Everything else was pretty awesome, I can’t think of anything else to say right now! I really hope we get a season 3 though.

I’m an inappropriate Australian – a country where swears are terms of endearment – so let me know if anything I say or do offends you and I’ll fix that up.

Yeah..I saw that after I watched it a second time…but hopefully that was just gravity pulling the blood down to his left side.  Regardless, to me the big question is who shot him?!?!

I read an interview with Hayley today.  She says that when they offered her the new show it was made clear to her that if AC was picked up for another season they would work the schedule so she could do both.  And Hayley said she would like to come back for season 3 if the show continues on.  So even though she is on a new show, that doesn’t mean it eliminates any possibility that AC will continue on.  The big question is what the new lady in charge will do (ABC just got a new president or something).

I thought this was a really solid episode.  I loved that Howard came back and brought his trademark wit with him.  Despite the seriousness of the situation, he always brings some much needed levity.  I mean, come on…he was hitting golf balls into the Dark Dimension?  And I love that Jarvis gave him an Iron to help him with the shot.  Because what else would a Stark go to but an Iron?

And Whitney Frost was in great form.  When she went full Zero Matter she was really scary. I agree that they did take her down kind of easily (if you call getting shot with a gamma cannon easy).  I guess that feeling is just because so little time was spent dealing with the gamma cannon this week, but really it took a lot of effort…it just happened in episode 8.  I would have liked more of a fight with super-powerful Frost rather than just shooting her in the back.  And then they put her in the car and just leave her alone there…not very smart in my book.  But in the end I think she seemed like a very tragic character.  Yes, she went totally nuts, but my heart kind of broke for her as she went full on Lady MacBeth.  And I felt really bad for Manfredi, too.  He seems to really love her and it takes a lot to love someone when they get that lost.  In the end she can’t even have roses in her room because she will just use them to rip her face open.  Is she still hoping to find the Zero Matter inside her? And I loved how in her hallucination with Cal you can see the masks over her shoulder.  I wonder if she will regain some control over herself and come back later on (season 3…fingers crossed!).  If so, maybe that is when she begins donning the mask…because her face is too messed up.  Hmmmm…

And Peggy is staying in LA…at least for a while longer.  That is good.  I like the show better in LA, but I do miss Angie.  Maybe she could come to LA and become a screen actress.  Peggy does imply they are still roommates in NY…so maybe if Peggy stays in California then Angie will come with her.

And I love that Howard mentions building the facility in Malibu.  This is presumably the same facility Tony is using in the Iron Man movies. He went to Peru to work with Abner Brody (I couldn’t find any reference to him in the comics).  Howard mentions Brody is one of his old professors and specializes in subatomic and gravitational physics. I wonder if the new project Howard dreamed up in Peru was the Arc Reactor.  Does anyone remember when that finally gets built?

AND WHO SHOT JACK????  Vernon?   We never did see his body in the aftermath of Wilkes ejecting the Zero Matter.  Maybe he was absorbed by Frost, or maybe he ran away in the chaos.  Or did Dottie come back and shoot Jack?  She killed Krzeminsky dressed as a man, maybe she did it again.  And whoever it was stole that file on M. Carter.  Dottie could definitely find a use for that if it is about Peggy.  Whoever the mystery shooter was, they were wearing a shirt/turtleneck under a button-down shirt…that seems an odd choice for a man in that time period to me, but I am not an expert in 1940s fashion.

And WHAT does that Arena Club/Hydra key open??  Are all the lapel pins keys or just Vernon’s?

And WHAT is in that file on M. Carter?  IS it Peggy’s file?  Is it Michael’s?  Michael actually died before the events in that file..at least officially.  But could his death have been faked?

So many questions left unanswered!  There really needs a season 3!!!!

It’s a reference to an Indiana Jones character.
