Except I didn’t spot that one anywhere in the trailer :)

I’m not sure I even like that one much personally, I guess I go with the simple is better train of thought

That logo appears in The Avengers and the comic book series The Avengers Prelude: Fury’s Big Week. Here’s another logo which appears in the tv show.

As I said, when I posted the article a month or so ago it was not displayed and was therefore not included

Had a question about S.H.I.E.L.D. symbols. In the last episode, “Seeds” the Wall of Valor has several different symbols. I would imagine the early ones are SSR. But anyone know what the rest represent? Thanks Jimmy

Jimmy i imagine the different ones are for different time periods or wars. What division (operations, science, or communications) the agent worked in may also factor in somehow. I think the more flared out wings was the original shield logo, with the more spaced out broken one being more contemporary. As in may have just been chamged recently which is why some equipment and uniforms still have the old logo

The “Eagle w Stars’n’Stripes” version dates back to the comics, possibly the mini-series Secret War by Brian Michael Bendis and Gabrielle dell’Otto. The stylized eagle roundel goes back to the first Ultimates series by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch.
