  1. Had a question about S.H.I.E.L.D. symbols. In the last episode, “Seeds” the Wall of Valor has several different symbols. I would imagine the early ones are SSR. But anyone know what the rest represent? Thanks Jimmy

  2. Jimmy i imagine the different ones are for different time periods or wars. What division (operations, science, or communications) the agent worked in may also factor in somehow. I think the more flared out wings was the original shield logo, with the more spaced out broken one being more contemporary. As in may have just been chamged recently which is why some equipment and uniforms still have the old logo

What about the symbols on uniforms? Hawkeye’s points to the left. Is there a reason for that?

  4. The “Eagle w Stars’n’Stripes” version dates back to the comics, possibly the mini-series Secret War by Brian Michael Bendis and Gabrielle dell’Otto. The stylized eagle roundel goes back to the first Ultimates series by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch.
