Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Finale

Agents of SHIELD 1x22 Beginning of the EndTV Guide has released some information about the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale and there are some major reveals coming up!

Now that Hydra has revealed themselves and S.H.I.E.L.D. has been disbanded, Coulson and his team are on their own to take down the now-missing Clairvoyant. But how will they react when they learn Ward is actually a member of Hydra planted in their group? The finale will address Ward's true allegiances as well as answer questions about Skye's lineage, who's controlling Deathlok and what the Clairvoyant wants with Coulson. "We think the audience is waiting for a showdown between Coulson's team and Garrett's team and they're going to get a satisfying payoff to that epic conclusion," executive producer Jeffrey Bell says, hinting there could be other sleepers. "If they win, it comes at a price." Plus: Nick Fury returns! --Source: TV Guide

OMG?! I cannot wait for the season finale!!! I saw episode 19 this morning and absolutely LOVED IT!?! The scene where Skye found out Ward was Hydra was one of my favourite scenes. PLUS! We finally got to meet the Cellist that Coulson referred to in The Avengers and episode 10! I am so glad we’re finally going to find out more information about Skye – she is the one character nobody knows anything about (including herself) so I’m excited to see what will be revealed. All that’s left now is to find out Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has been renewed for a second season in May and then the stories can continue. This show is by far my FAVOURITE show on TV this season so please ABC let this show continue! ????????????

  2. Katrina of Marvel says

Hating the idea that Ward is evil. Any chance he has an inplant like Deathlock and has to be evil?

  3. Shhh it's a Secret says

I think Katrina of Marvel is actually on to something. They way Garrett was talking to Ward in a few previous episodes made it seem like he is being forced into this by his former S.O. Ward also made a comment saying that when he was growing up he was forced to abuse his younger brother by his older brother. He complied because he was scared. I think that Garrett is most likely doing the same thing on a much higher level. I also think that there are a lot more HYDRA members still hidden within S.H.I.E.L.D.’s remaining good guys. Ward cannot be their only double agent. It would be to risky if he defected. There is still a lot of directions that this show can go. I hope it explores them to their full potential and keeps me guessing. Knowing the way Joss Whedon likes to go with his work, I think that they will. Just please keep SKYEWARD alive.

Mike wasn’t brainwashed!!! He is being blackmailed. Totally different things.
Ward did suffer some kind of brainwashing, but I’d say it’s something more close to a stockholm syndrome than go with anything else. He is a victim of abuse, thats all. Also why they showed Garret constantly telling him to “quit being a victim” it’s gaslighting.
people aren’t supposed to condemn abuse victims.

Actually what I would like to know is where the hell are Fitz and Simmons? Why weren’t they in the promo? They’ll be just forgotten at sea? That room they were in won’t flood.
And how would the team defeat Garret (the guy who was feeling “the universe”) whitout FitzSimmons?

  5. TommieJay says

Why is everyone making excuses for Ward? He’s bad – and it doesn’t matter for what reasons. He’s not being controlled he knows what he’s doing – and the reason doesn’t matter. That being said. I don’t think he’s going to be killed off. Chances are the character will remain conflicted and complicated. If you look at some of Joss’ other shows he often has “gray area” characters like this. Sometimes they are bad, sometimes they are good. It’s good television and it will keep us guessing.

    • PiAxI says

Well, my guess, is that Deathlok will keep us “guessing” – type his name on any search engine and you’ll know he is a Marvel’s villain, the creation/formation of a vilain it’s interesting and gray enough.
It makes poor sense to keep Ward as a villain after the flashbacks and his “indirect killings” when it comes to the ones he “loves”.
Oh, and check gaslighting too, it’s fun knowing things.
